The Honors Fellowship
Description
The Honors Fellowship is designed to
encourage and support scholarly endeavors of University Honors Program (UHP)
participants. Fellowships are awarded on the basis of academic merit (GPA) and
completion of a UHP Learning Contract. Honors Fellowship application forms must
be obtained from the UHP office at the time of admission to the program. Each
fellowship award category has a list of minimum qualifying requirements. Honors
Fellowship awards are subject to funding availability.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for the Honors Fellowship, students must:

Be members in good academic standing
of the UHP

Freshmen - a
cumulative UCR GPA of 3.20 and above
·
Sophomores - a
cumulative UCR GPA of 3.50 and above
·
Upper division
students - a cumulative UCR GPA of 3.50 and above |

|
Have completed at least 32 hours of
academic credit (two quarters, Fall and Winter); |
|
|
Complete the requirements outlined
in the UHP Learning Contract for Lower Division, Sophomore Honors or
Upper Division Honors. |
Continuing Student Fellowships are available
to students continuing in the honors program for the next year on a competitive
basis.

criteria for the 2008-2009 academic year will be announced.
The 2008 - 2009 Deadline Dates to apply for the Honors Fellowship will be
announced.
