Hi there! My name is Yomna Elkereamy, I am a fourth-year Biology major. This is my third year serving as an Honors Ambassador and my first as Co-Chief Ambassador! During my four years at UCR, I had the chance to join a Chemistry research lab, kick-start my capstone research project, and work in a Microbiology & Plant Pathology lab as a Lab Assistant. These opportunities have been incredibly enriching as I have been able to meet and work with many wonderful people! I am currently looking to attend dental school in the future. But outside of all the academics, I love spending time giving back to my community by participating in educational outreach events and volunteering at the Free Clinic! In my free time, I am typically either reading a book, learning a new recipe, or roaming around beach cities! I look forward to meeting you!

Hi there! I am a third year Honors student majoring in Political Science and History. I am a first generation Latina, who hopes to pursue a J.D. or Ph.D. in History. I wish to travel the world someday and possibly complete an International Studies graduate program abroad. The manner in which the past becomes the present, thus influencing our future fascinates me--which is why I chose to double major and combine my two passions. As a commuter, it is often difficult to find a safe space on such a diverse campus, yet Honors has offered an inclusivity that I wish to provide to all first year students. My interests range from art to poetry, although I do enjoy discovering fun and new places to dine or simply explore. I am not much of an introvert, so I will always be ready to greet you with a smile on my face!
