Tau Sigma is a national Honor Society designed exclusively for transfer students. The mission of Tau Sigma is to “recognize and promote the academic excellence of transfer students" through official induction into the society and lifetime membership. Tau Sigma provides its members an opportunity to interact with and meet some of UCR’s best students. Members also enjoy the benefits of academic support, peer support, extracurricular activities, leadership, and scholarship opportunities.

• Transfer students who earn a GPA of 3.5, or above, their first quarter at UCR will be invited to join
• Students will be notified through R'Mail
• There is a one-time $50.00 membership fee
